Ridgewood United Community Pantry Soap

Project Description: On May 6th from 1-4pm, participants will assemble packages of laundry soap for pantry clients using a proven recipe that is effective and economical. Tasks will include grating soap bars, and mixing powdered ingredients in tubs. Supplies needed include cheese graters, buckets/tubs for mixing, mixing spoons/shovels (or barehand may want gloves) and dust masks. Laundry ingredients will be provided. This project is available for ages 5 and up and a great opportunity for families to work on a project together!
Project Location: Plainfield United Methodist Church, 15114 S. Illinois St. Plainfield, IL 60544.
Volunteer Requirements: All children under 12 must serve with a parent or adult.
Project Supplies: Each volunteer should bring cheese graters, buckets/tubs for mixing, mixing spoons/shovels (or barehand may want gloves) and dust masks.
