Linden Oaks Stress Blankets – EVENT FULL

Project Description: On Sunday, May 6th, from 1 – 4 pm, volunteers will have the opportunity to assist in putting together some unique stress relieving blankets. These stress blankets are used on the Adolescent Unit at Linden Oaks as a way to assist the patients with anxiety and depression. Will need some volunteers to assist in setup day of at 11:30 am.
Project Location: Edward Plainfield ER 24600 W. 127th Street, Plainfield, IL 60585 (Lower level conference room located in ER/OP Center entrance).
Volunteer Requirements: Ages 7 and up are welcome but children must serve with an parent/adult. Volunteers to bring a yard of fleece (patterns and fun colors) and sharp cutting scissors.
Donations Needed: Donation boxes will also be located at St Mary Immaculate Parrish and Community Christian Church Plainfield.
